So, what about the new web site design? Like it? No? All comments welcome to info@misterdoo.co.uk. Have a look at the comments page for un-prompted comments from people signing the mailing list. Very amusing...
Mister Doo on the radio. Mister Doo was on Southern Counties radio on Sunday 18th February. It was a "Juke Box Jury" type of program, and thanks to all who texted in or phoned with comments. Unfortunately, the mighty Chicago Thieves won - they're a bit tasty, and it's always hard being a solo artist up against bands. Still, some good comments, despite the fact the demo they played is soooo old...
Excellent return spot at Petersfield's finest venue Trader's on the 10th October. One of the crowd did this fine impromptu portrait of Mister Doo - or is it Biffa Bacon? Not sure. Anyway, if you did this, or know who did it, get in touch. I love it!
And, of course, there was the legendary John Peel Tribute Night at Brave New World Surbiton - 2 gigs in a week, and Mister Doo still forgets the words to She's Funny That Way - what a professional. Anyway, the Peel night was excellent, with great bands like Tim Royce and Dave Cox and The Whittaker Brothers giving it large for free in front of a hiuge crowd of revellers.
Most of the crowd were probably far too young to remember John Peel, but clearly still enjoyed it. And no-one did that bloody awful Teenage Kicks - am I the only person in the world who hates that song? |

Very succesful spot at the Half Moon, Putney on 23rd May '05. Major thanks to the complete strangers who took some fantastic photos (see gallery). If you read this, drop me a line....
Well, Mister Doo was off the scene with a severe back injury for a couple of months, but now HE'S BACK and more raunchy than ever. Upcoming gigs at Six Bells, Farnham and Half Moon, Putney, as well as gigs in Brighton and Bristol.
